Professional Athlete & Coach, Crossfit & Boston Iron GRID
I am Jessa Lemoine, a professional athlete on the Boston Iron and also a CrossFitter. I grew up in a small rural Massachusetts town always climbing up and bouncing off everything. My parents enrolled me in gymnastics at the age of three and I was a competitive gymnast all the way up through high school, where I also picked up track and field. After high school I decided I wanted to experience some warmer weather, so I attended the University of Georgia and was a pole vaulter on the track team. Upon graduation I realized that I missed the New England seasons and moved back to Massachusetts, but this time to the city of Boston. However, it wasn’t just the seasons that I missed. I also wanted to find a way to remain an athlete post college and that’s when I found CrossFit.
I train 5-6 days a week, 1-2 times a day plus an active recovery day. My training includes lots of strength training and conditioning as well as skill and accessory work. My active recovery always involves a light sweat and full body mobility.
What I absolutely love about PY products is that I know exactly what ingredients I am putting into my body and that they are all natural and healthy. And the taste is perfect – not overwhelming, not artificial, just yummy! My favorite PY product and flavor is the Blueberry Açai Protein Drink!
